Why are there gaps in Cloud DVR?

Oftentimes, when you experience gaps in the blue recording timeline, it is a sign of insufficient bandwidth. The Cloud DVR feature records at 720P, which requires a minimum of 800 kbps per camera. When the network capacity is reached or exceeded the camera is unable to transmit all clips to cloud, which causes a gap in the timeline.

When you experience these issues, it is recommended that you evaluate your network performance and switch to Smart Monitoring in order to conserve bandwidth.
